The Data Engineer will be responsible for the deployment and maintenance of complex solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure data Platform including (Azure Data Lake Store (gen 2), Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Azure Analysis Services azure SQL Servers, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory) but not

The role can be resumed as

• Owner of Data Platform on Azure ;
  
• Force of proposition in the Architecture design, performance, and scalability ;
  
• Design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade Data Engineering solutions based on the Microsoft Data Platform (Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory) ;
  
• Deploying solutions designed by Senior IT Engineers, designing solutions and systems to meet business requirements, maintaining production and development business systems, and other duties as assigned ;
  
• Mentoring more junior team members and supporting their personal development
  
• Design and build data models and data components ;
  
• Design and build data pipelines to automate data flows in batch and real-time ;
  

The ideal candidate will have experience in hybrid Cloud environments supporting fast-paced business

• High Microsoft Data platform knowledge as well as an Azure Cloud experience is required ;
  
• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB is required ;
  
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in all aspects of Microsoft SQL environments is highly preferred, ideally a legacy DBA role ;
  
• Understanding and experience working with Microsoft Azure DevOps (work items, build/release, CICD) Terraform or Ansible is considered as an asset ;
  
• Strong communication skills with consultancy
