EPG () is currently seeking a full time Director of Engineering eMobility for one of our partners that addresses the needs and challenges of clean energy technology for the commercial vehicle industry through development of zero-emission commercial In this position, you will lead engineering teams and drive innovative development in products containing hardware, software, and mechanical

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a multidisciplinary team to bring new products to ;
  

• Work with vendors to coordinate design, development and delivery of products or
  

• Make sure technology platforms are designed to maximize potential for the business regarding costs, re-usability, modularity, and serviceability, as well as providing configurable options for
  

• Evaluate internal vs external design and resource choices for components, sub-assemblies, and software
  

• Work with product management and the advanced technology team to define future product
  

• Check interface with other teams supporting the
  

• Cooperate closely with business unit VP and engineering leadership to set and execute the mission, vision, and strategy of the engineering
  

• Collaborate with engineering leadership to support engineering
  

• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Operations & Security teams to guarantee solutions work in production, are secure, and risks are
  

• Develop and control the annual operating and capital expenditure budget to make sure it is consistent with overall engineering
  

• Verify best practices are followed for business continuity and disaster recovery
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree required
  

• 10+ years of experience with complex development projects involving outsourcing, hardware, software and mechanical
  

• Product launch
  

• Understanding of electronic and software
  

• 5+ years in a team leadership/management
  

Preferred

• Bachelor s area of study in Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
  

• Automotive or commercial vehicles experience
  

• eMobility experience
