Job Description

Tasks

  • Manage and develop microscopy OEM projects for Life Science and Industry applications in collaboration with OEM Sales Managers and distributors for EMEA region
  • Support acquisition of new projects through technical consulting, development of OEM solutions and providing excellent customer service
  • Organization and preparation of technical and regulatory documents related to OEM inquiries
  • Continuously observe OEM market trends and identify opportunities, e.g. through scouting and networking on relevant Life Science and Industry trade shows
  • Define potential needs for component customizations, create a business case. Promote the case to window persons in Japan HQ
  • Product Management of a small OEM component portfolio over the entire life cycle
  • Collaborate closely with OEM group HQ in Japan and co-develop global meaningful content for OEM marketing, reports and global OEM account activities
  • Monitor OEM sales and support management on OEM sales and activities reporting
  • Work close with Customer Care specialists to ensure steady OEM supply chain, including forecasting and resolving supply issues (e.g. product obsolescence)
  • Become part and rely on support of a motivated OEM team consisting of Sales, Account management, Engineering and Marketing functions

Requirements

  • University degree in technical or scientific studies
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in an technical customer facing environment
  • Experience in microscopy, optics and/or OEM business beneficial
  • Self-organized and goal-oriented and persuasive
  • High customer-orientation, cooperation and team spirit on an international level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel on occasion
