Job Description
Qualifications & Experience:
Matric Certificate
Accounting Degree
SAIPA or SAICA accredited
Minimum 2 years post-article experience
Valid drivers license and own transport
Ability to communicate effectively and have excellent relational skills.
Ability to perform calculations and prepare detailed reports
Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word-processing programs
Knowledge on Caseware and Xero
Understand statutory requirements e.g. PAYE, UIF, etc.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Review of monthly management accounts.
Preparation of budgets and forecasting.
Reviewing all applicable income and balance sheet reconciliations.
Review of bi-monthly VAT reconciliations, submissions, and payments to SARS.
Cash flow projections.
Review of annual income tax and provisional tax calculations and returns.
Review of draft financial statements and liaising with external auditors.
