Job Description
Cutting and styling of client s own hair and hair replacement/enhancement to achieve a natural blend/integration and a style that is up to date and life style suitable.
Perming and colouring of client s own hair and hair replacement to maintain a cohesive natural blend between the two.
Attachment removal and reattachment of client s hair replacement/enhancement programs (including Flashpoints and Hair to Go) and the servicing of both to maintain a consistent and appropriate style.
Promotion sales and design of further hair replacement programs to update the client s style maintain 1 2 or more workable hair replacement systems and provide client with appearance continuity.
Promotion sales and client education of our Clients own range of hair care products as is appropriate for a proper home care regime.
To provide education information and support for client s proper handling of new hair replacement programs and lifestyle implications.
To speak and behave in a professional manner at all times when at work or on duty at work related occasions.
To speak respectfully about the company its products and procedures at all times to all both within and without the company.
To maintain a clean tidy and presentable work area and treatment cubicles at all times.
To liaise with the manager to ensure that the appropriate consumable and other professional products are ordered in good time so as to avoid any disruption in the service provided to clients.
Requirements
Cosmetology license or equivalent or
Must be experienced to NQF Level 3 and have excellent cutting and barbering ss
2 years of experience as a hair stylist.
Strong customer service ss.
Excellent communication ss.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new techniques.
Working hours are 08h00 17h00 Monday to Friday & 08h00 15h00 on Saturdays (1 day off in the week).
