As a member of the World Trade Sales Americas Organization,
you will lead a team of Application Engineers, located throughout North
America, to support sales efforts and lead product win and deployment at major
accounts for the market leading Tessent platform products. You and your team
will be a pool of North American expert resources for the Tessent product
suite.
As the Tessent Application Engineering Manager you will be
responsible for the following:
Manage both pre-sales and post-sales technical support
activities, providing leadership and management for an AE team. These
activities include establishing value for Siemens EDA products and
differentiation from the competition.
Work closely with sales management and account teams, to
understand business opportunities, develop and execute regional technical and
account plans. Also managing resource levels within the technical team to align
the right technical resources to support sales engagements.
Drive business for Siemens EDA, using technical expertise
and working directly with customers as a part of sales team to establish
criteria for successful engagements. Communicating frequently with peers and
management on progress and account status.
Provide coaching to facilitate development of the AE team
and drive individual and team achievement through the growth talks process.
Establish and maintain lines of communication with product
engineering on issues such as considerations for product quality, reliability,
and performance.
Work with marketing and product managers to define new
products and may provide insight from the field back to these groups.
Required Qualifications:
BSEE or BSCS degree is required; MSEE
degree preferred; 12+ years in technical sales and/or DFT implementation
roles in the Semiconductor industry. Management experience preferred.
Experience in and broad knowledge of DFT technology and
methodologies, experience with the Tessent platform is preferred.
Hands-on experience with DFT implementation, hierarchical
test, ATPG pattern generation, compression technology implementation, and
Memory BIST is a must. Understanding of Diagnosis Driven Yield Analysis is also
desired. A broad understanding of ASIC design flows is preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills to provide
accurate feedback to engineering/marketing on product development, build strong
relationships with key customer contacts, and lead a team of AEs.
The job can be located in any key location in the USA
with as much as 25% travel.
