The position maintains and administers employee benefit programs, including Group Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Flexible Spending Accounts, Salary Continuation Disability, LTD, AFLAC and FMLA. Communicates with benefit insurance providers and assists in providing them information necessary to process insurance claims. You will be responsible for reconciling and processing monthly insurance invoices from benefit providers. Interface with vendors to improve processes and service levels.
The position is responsible for orientation of all new hires regarding benefits and ensures that all employees are enrolled for benefits timely. The incumbent is also responsible for answering questions and providing information to existing employees relating to benefits. The position is responsible to prepare termination paperwork for all terminating personnel and prepare election forms and notices for terminating employees to ensure compliance with COBRA/HIPAA laws and other requirements.
