Finance Business Partner (m/f/x)

Tasks

As our business partner dedicated to our different media companies in Germany, Spain, UK, and US, you will have a key role in our international Finance team. You will support and work closely with our general managers and liaise with various departments, with main focus on Content Production, Marketing, and overhead functions on reporting & planning, financial modeling, commercial decision-making, and more.

The role will have broad responsibility for bringing analytic rigor to the local process of evaluating commercial and financial performance. The role navigates challenges from shaping long-term strategy to driving short-term performance and being actively involved in financial projects.

As part of this varied role, we're are also counting on you to:

• Partner with the General Managers, providing advice and challenge to stakeholders
• Perform extensive commercial-financial modeling and analysis for a variety of reporting and planning activities, including month-end analysis, and strategic planning
• Work with the leadership team to coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process ensuring collaboration and consensus with all other central functions.
• Actively engage in the month-end closing process by controlling P&Ls for our brands, reviewing actuals versus budget, and support reporting to both internal and external stakeholders
• Work on ad-hoc analysis and projects

Requirements

What you add to our team:

• 2 years of Commercial Finance/Business Partnering experience with increasing levels of responsibility, preferably in digital/tech/media sectors
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in the field of Finance & Accounting, Master Degree is a plus
• A highly analytical and strategic mindset with advanced problem-solving skills
• Strong commercial business understanding, including potential impact of business decisions on various internal/external stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, team player, trustworthy, flexible, solution-oriented, entrepreneurial, highly committed
• Highly collaborative with fantastic facilitation skills at team, department and division level and proactive approach.
• Advanced MS Office (especially Excel) and reporting skills are required
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, German is a plus but not mandatory
