ABOUT THE POSITION

The Business Manager supports the CEO and the founders to drive development in the company s strategic, people, financial and governance areas. The primary location of the job is in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

You will be:

• Supporting the CEO in people functions, including HR administration, talent acquisition and rewards.
  
• Supporting the CEO capital raising activities, including liaison with external investor, drafting of presentations & business plan
  
• Coordinating financial, governance and corporate secretarial matters and oversee internal document management process and authority protocols
  
• Overseeing various partnership due diligence with external business partners and lawyers
  
• Coordinating of Founders/Board meetings, including agenda planning, material preparation and note
  

Requirements

• Is ambitious (with a view to grow into Chief of Staff/CFO/COO type roles in the medium term) and seeking a role with exposure to all areas of the business and works directly with the CEO/Board.
  
• Have a curious mind and not afraid to ask the simple questions nor the difficult ones.
  
• Cares about quality and have attention to detail and yet able to zoom out to see the bigger picture.
  
• Is proficient in typical digital tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Lucid Charts, or are willing to invest time to learn.
  
• Have an accounting/financial background, or possess and MBA, and minimum of 3 years work experience, preferably in the financial services, consulting, or audit areas.
