IT & ERP Manager

The company is a leader of the railway industry offering one of the most comprehensive and flexible arrays of products in railway related markets, such as rolling stock, components, infrastructure, signalling and services (maintenance, refurbishing and financial services).

A leading railway manufacturer, is seeking a IT & ERP Manager for a major project based in Delhi / NCR. You will form part of the Rolling Stock Project and a key member of the IT team. In this position, you will responsible for IT infrastructure setup for new organization in CAF India and Industrial footprint in co-ordination with Corporate IT/SAP System team in Spain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading all aspects of IT and Network including planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the activities with the defined process.
• IT systems within organization, including computer software, hardware, facilities, and security systems.
• Lead and manage IT vendors along with Indirect Sourcing Team to implement the company's new ERP system.
• Analyze business processes and provide solutions for IT system improvement.
• Manage and coordinate with the project team for required Project related IT systems implementations in line with internal user needs and Project requirements.
• Responsible for budgeting, implementation of cost effective solutions & controlling IT related expenses.
• Preserve Assets, information security and control structures.
• Develop plan for ERP implementation at multisite location in India.
• Manage team of IT/SAP support engineers at CAF India Engineering Centre, Factory and Project Depots site.
• Maintain essential IT operations, including Operating Systems, Security tools, Applications, Servers, Email Systems, Laptops, Desktops, Software, and Hardware.
• Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
• Continuously analyze current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement.
• Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed.
• Develop and execute disaster procedures and maintain data backups.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification:

• Bachelor s degree in technology or computer science

Professional Experience:

• 10+ years experience in IT management and Proven experience as SAP Project Manager
• SAP ERP knowledge / Functional Consultancy Background

• [Preferable] Proven experience in Industrial Buildings construction or refurbishment SAP
• Implementation Projects.
• Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (MS Exchange, Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring

• Spanish, as alternative, would be very favorably considered.
