We are Looking for a Lead Teacher that will support all Site Directors and Assistant Directors in providing a high-quality program and to provide a warm, nurturing, safe and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced, independence is encouraged, and individuality is respected.

Pay range: $14.50-$20/hr
Qualifications:
1. Knowledgeable of the child's physical, emotional and developmental patterns.
2. Sensitivity to the individual and group needs of children.
A joyful approach to the child.
3. Evidence of emotional maturity and stability.
4. Sufficient maturity and good judgment to function in a crisis situation.
5. Ability to create an atmosphere of positive and appropriate discipline.
6. Sensitive to the individual needs of parents.
7. Ability to communicate with parents effectively.
8. Logical decision-making ability
9. Good customer service
10. Physical abilities required include the ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid, the ability to see and read newsprint with or without corrective lenses, to speak and be understood under normal circumstances, to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds, and to use arms, hands, legs, and feet with or without a corrective device to accomplish the job, including evacuation of the building during emergencies.
Responsibilities:
Full Time
