Assistant Group Accountant

• Report to the Senior Finance Manager
  
• Prepare monthly consolidation financial reporting (50 companies), quarterly reporting (including Bursa Reporting), annual group consolidated financial statements, financial forecast, financial budget, etc.
  
• Generate variance analyses, commentaries, pinpoint accounting problems, and offer advice on group accounting concerns.
  
• Stay current with the creation of new accounting standards and engage in accounting-related research.
  
• Develop and uphold positive working relationships with colleagues who are in charge of the Groups Corporate and Finance functions as well as with external parties.
  
• Examining and approving the administrative duties of the business.
  
• Implement and keep track of group accounting regulations
  
• Respond to auditors questions on a group basis.
  
• Any other ad hoc tasks that may occasionally be allocated.
  

Requirements

• Min Degree in Finance/Accounting with ACCA certified professional
  
• At least 4 years of auditing experience with Big Four accounting firm or medium firm
  
• Added advantage for working experience in property development industry
  
• Capable of working independently with little oversight and effectively interacting with a variety of stakeholders (internally and externally)
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  
• Possess strong interpersonal, follow-up, and communication skills as well as excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
  
• Capable of meeting deadlines and working under pressure
