Hatch Asia has been appointed to help a global organization identify a Group Head of sustainability to champion the organizations Investment and Enterprise Sustainability strategy.

This role will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing the vision and strategy to drive the organizations sustainability efforts as well as the roadmaps for implementing and executing these initiatives. This highly crossfunctional role will work closely with leaders across the organization and the business to spearhead the groups global sustainability strategy.

The Challenges

• Drive the development of the organizations sustainability strategy and integration with business and corporate strategy including economic analysis KPI development qualitative and quantitative assessment and roadmaps.
• Lead global sustainability strategy conceptualizing and developing the vision and strategy to drive the organizations efforts as well as the roadmaps for implementing and executing strategic initiatives.
• Overall responsibility for the success and long term vision of sustainability for the group as well as for integration and alignment of sustainability across key businesses and functions.
• lead a highly crossfunctional team responsible for corporate sustainability commitments governance reporting internal and external partners and investment initiatives which assist in progressing the groups sustainability goals.
• Build lead and scale with empathy a high performing and inclusive team setting ambitious measurable objectives and goals which will have direct impact to the organizations sustainability commitments.

What It Takes

• Proven track record in leading the sustainability function for a large enterprise preferably within Financial Services Private Equity or Investments.
• Strong ability to play a partner role to the executive leadership team and build a function with empathy.
• Ability to take ownership for the function and champion the organizations sustainability efforts on a global stage.
