This role will provide direction to the team by planning, coordinating, and managing various functions(design, development, etc) within the organization and with the customers. This role will engage with customers in product and project implementations, planning, setting objectives and prioritizing activities across work groups. The engineering manager will ensure that customers and internal development teams are both led and guided for successful implementation journeys.
Major Roles and Responsibilities of the role are:-
Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time.
Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Responsible for solving any engineering issues in the project
Pre-emption and resolution of issues, working with the customer and the Delivery teams to manage escalations
Building a reputation as easiest to work with each customer
Monitor the performance of individual contributors and help manage their professional development.
Communicate clearly and effectively with development teams and monitor progress
Ideation / design / co-creation of innovative solutions.
Voice of customer/project/implementation with in Lumiq
Requirements
Experience & Skills OVERALL EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of Software development experience
Minimum 3 years of Project lead/ Project Management experience.
Experience in working across levels in the Customer Organization
Minimum 3 years of technical solutions implementation, architecture design, evaluation and investigation in a cloud environment (specifically AWS, Azure and/or GCP)
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Solution/technical architecture in the cloud
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Big Data, AI/ML, DevOps in the Cloud
Background in BFSI and a customer-facing role would be an advantage
Experience in the IT SaaS Products Industry would be an advantage
Start-up experience would be an advantage FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE
Expert in interacting with customer business teams and partners to understand the business scope, processes & requirements
Skilled at clearly articulating and detailing project scope
Ability to collaborate with customers and internal Lumiq teams to estimate effort and communicate status
Managing the delivery, review, and vetting of business cases, scope and requirements documents, Stakeholder management
Expert at handling and managing user stories documentation, test plans, and rollout communications
Knack for user-centric design, understanding of UI/UX
Exposure to Techno-commercial knowledge LEADERSHIP SKILLS
Experience in working and aligning with the Development Team, Product Team, and Business Teams.
