Operations Administration
Administers permits from land management agencies such as the BLM, Forest Service, State Parks and
other agencies, currently numbering some 17 offices.
Administers various state outfitter licensing requirements (Idaho, Oregon, Montana & WA).
Administers each state s guide licensing, maintains a spreadsheet of guide qualifications and helps
guides apply for licenses as needed.
Completes an annual liability insurance application and administers both vehicle and general liability
policies.
Provides required data to, and works closely with, ROW s accountant to meet company goals and
objectives within agreed upon timelines.
Assists the Director of Operations with hiring paperwork and follow up as needed.
Assists in selling trips during off-season as needed.
Manages a DOT Drug Testing program for driver and staff.
Manages US DOT requirements for drivers
Administers workman s compensation and unemployment insurance claims relating to all personnel and
coordinates with ROW financial department.
Makes sure trip photos are uploaded after each trip and/or provides accountability for whatever photo
system we have in place.
International Operations
Maintains operations manuals as needed.
Assists the Company President as needed
Office Administration
Annually updates various trip related documents
Generates weekly sales reports
Updates ROAM reservation system with trip information as needed.
Coordinates improvements in ROAM (reservation and CRM software) with programmer
Maintains and improves office phone system (as needed)
Maintains and checks that computer backup system is working
Assists Adventure Consultant sales staff as needed
Responsible for office equipment operation (postage meter, copy machine, etc.)
Looks for ways to improve automation and systems
Reviews post-trip reports and paperwork submitted by guides in the field and directs any action needed
to the appropriate people or department
Processes guest payments and goes to bank as needed
Other
Is a team player maintaining a good sense of humor, is cooperative, enthusiastic and flexible in dealing
with co-workers and guests.
Assists the President as needed.
Assists with various office duties as needed.
Is fluent in Microsoft office and other programs.
A minimum of one year experience in operations or office administration; or a bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Strong communication skills, computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.), and experience in the travel, tourism, outdoor or adventure industries is preferred.
