(FMCG) Director Supply Chain Planning / Director Supply Planning / Director S&OP

Highly successful global multibillion dollar Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturing leader with well-known iconic brands seeks a results oriented Director of Supply Chain Planning for a critical role within the organization.

In this key leadership role, you will provide strategic leadership across the entire supply chain operation including production, inventory planning, procurement, scheduling, deployment and inventory management to achieve the optimal landed cost.

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinates, organize, and oversees all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of goods to balance customer service levels, inventory and carrying costs
  
• Create supply plans, monitor sales forecasts to identify any effect on the supply chain, implementing waste reducing strategies and developing supply chain management procedures.
  
• Help build necessary business infrastructures that make sure supply chain operations run smoothly. Oversee Supply Chain teams in all plants within assigned platform as well as planning/deployment of over copackers/re-packers.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree
  
• 10 + Supply Chain Planning experience in a large Manufacturing organization
  
• 5+ years of Supply Chain Management experience
  
• Experience with all aspects of the supply chain lifecycle
  
• Familiarity with ERP technologies such as Blue Yonder or SAP IBP / ATO
  
• Experience with continuous improvement strategies
