Project Planner / Coordinator

Burnley

12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Salary Dependent on Experience


The Client

Our client is a world leader in providing specialist field joint coating services to the onshore and offshore services for all major pipeline construction contractors (Oil & Gas) who have earned a reputation for quality, performance, reliability in the services of the company.


The Role

Main function is to Assist Planning Manager with new project plans and take actions on setting up and maintain the planning process flow for each new projects to maintain, enhance and assure fulfilment of the business planning procedures, guidelines, and processes.



Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and update the different departments planning tools in line with projects plans
  • Collect different departments updates and incorporate into the inhouse developed systems, populate the reports, and keep all business areas up to dates in terms of schedule changes.
  • Maintain projects database with up-to-date information
  • Work on different projects schedules, programs, and reporting systems to issue weekly and monthly reports

Education

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE (including Mathematics and English Language).

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management function as planner, document controller or project coordinator
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-approaching and self-initiator
  • Welling to learn and ready to be part of a busy environment

  • Outlook Advanced
  • Teams Advanced
  • SharePoint Intermediate to Professional
  • Microsoft Project Intermediate to Professional
  • Power BI Intermediate to Profession
