The role

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to work in partnership with our Procurement Manager coordinating tasks and providing administrative support across all our procurement processes. This will support the team to deliver a high quality service across our business and cost savings building strong supplier relationships.

An idea of what youll be doing:
  • Raising Purchase Orders based on the needs of the Project Team
  • Liaising with the Suppliers regarding any supply or delivery issues.Proactively checking with Suppliers before deliveries occur.
  • Support the estimating department by providing the latest product information assisting with supplier inquiries material pricing and maintaining the estimate system product files.
  • Supporting the Procurement Manager with maintaining supplier relationships and driving forward with achieving discounts.
  • Assisting with implementation of process and procedures to ensure continuity within the business.
  • Monthly updates on current systemic pricing.
  • Validation of receipt of goods before payments against invoices are made.
  • Booking and payment of hotels booked outside of the Navan System
  • Verification that Navan Expense Card Usage is within company policy.
  • Assigning Navan Card Business Expenditure to Projects in Procore.
  • Handling supplier defective goods and returns in accordance with our ISO:9001:2015 accreditation.


Requirements

When you join you will go through our topnotch induction and onboarding process and have opportunities to develop further through our inhouse training academy.


Youll have a proven track record of:
  • Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office Microsoft Teams SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones tablets laptops etc.
  • Excellent communication including ability to adapt communication styles and outstanding listening skills with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Able to adapt to changes in priorities while maintaining effective management of expectations.
  • Excellent listening skills with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Youll already have experience & qualifications in:

  • Good knowledge of Workflow Management Systems including but not limited to raising purchase orders receipting goods and overall understanding of financial process
  • Able to remain calm and efficient when working in a fastpaced environment to tight timeframes
  • Confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
