Become part of our Central Procurement Team as Head of Procurement (m/f/d) with exciting and various tasks. Orchestrate and build procurement processes in our Team at HRS on a global level. Be responsible for our global procurement initiatives to negotiate contracts and implement new processes on an operative and strategic level!
Tasks
- As Head of Procurement and Corporate Sustainability, you are responsible for a team of 2 procurement managers, 3 front office managers and 1 facility manager
- You will also focus on supplier management and the optimization of the supplier landscape (number of suppliers, structure of supplier landscape) and build up the contract management in SAP MM
- Permanent monitoring of the procurement volumes of your initiatives, identification of potential, definition of sourcing strategies and realization of savings
- Strive for holistic and efficient category sourcing strategy and action, working closely, openly and interactively with key stakeholders
- Centralize and standardize group-wide procurement processes
- Improve the quality of the documentation throughout the whole procurement process and links with our budgeting and controlling processeser landscape) and bulid up the contract management in SAP MM
- Management of interfaces to other departments, especially for your initiatives will be of high importance in your daily doing
- Support in the implementation of the SAP MM Project and organizing the roll-out
- Get involved along the entire external and internal supply chain (from demand verification to execution and follow-up) incl. operational processes for international locations, e.g. usage of SAP
- Using software solutions to digitalize and as far as possible automize routine tasks
- Improve the quality of the documentation along the whole procurement process and links with our budgeting and controlling processes
- Supporting our extensive sustainability projects from beginning until implementation
- Supervising the front office, facility management tasks of our headquarter in Cologne and organizing the worldwide property management
Requirements
- Master degree in Business Administration or comparable exam, ideally with a focus on business or procurement
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Consulting or a Procurement Department
- Excellent negotiation skills and drive to get things done
- Good presentation skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving oriented
- Independent, organized and structured way of working
- High flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a self-motivated and flexible way towards agreed objectives on multiple projects
- Ideally (not mandatory) you have working experience with SAP MM
- Excellent German and English language skills, verbal and written; additional languages are welcome
