Regional Sales Manager Gyrolab immunoassay business

Location: Home office, travel within assigned sales territory.

Territory: EMEA, option 1 (mainly Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium) OR option 2 (mainly
Italy, Switzerland, Israel).

Gyros Protein Technologies (GPT) business keeps growing in the EMEA region, and thus
we are looking for a qualified Regional Sales Manager (RSM), to cover one of the two new territories in the south of Europe
. The ideal candidate has experience working in the Life
Science sector and will bring their own skills for establishing and nurturing customer relationships. You will be responsible for planning and executing the entire sales process, as part of our European team. You will have the support from Inside Sales Rep, Field Application Specialists and Engineers, Customer Success Manager, as well as from our Marketing & Product Management Teams. We re looking for a quick learner who has strong communication and negotiation skills. The role demands a strategic approach, maintaining existing customers while developing new opportunities and closing deals. Moreover, you will be part of a global knowledge-driven company, with great career development opportunities within the organization.

You will be responsible for selling immunoassay instruments, consumables, and
services
. Our main customers are (Bio)Pharma and Biotech companies, CRO/CDMOs,
and academic research institutes working with immunoassays in discovery, development,
or production of biotherapeutics and vaccines (peptide- or protein-based, like Antibodies
or Enzymes, or viral vector-based products for Cell & Gene Therapies).

- Objective of this role: Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve annual sales and revenue targets.

Tasks

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and strengthen existing customer relationships and secure repeated business.
  • Identify new opportunities and build a solid sales pipeline, through prospecting and
    lead qualification activities.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Deliver product presentations and organize evaluations, together with the Field Application
    Specialists.
  • Keep the CRM updated and provide sales forecast information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree, or higher education, in Biotechnology, Biology or related
    field.
  • B2B sales experience in Life Sciences (ideally)
  • Experience with immunoassays or with capital equipment sales are a plus.
  • Eager to contribute to innovation in the Life Sciences through the commercial
    approach
  • Team player
  • Interested in establishing solid long-term business relationships
  • Keen to learn and convince
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and in other European
    language
