Job Description

For Duo Milan Porta Nuova and Grotta Giusti Thermal Spa Resort Tribute Portfolio and Autograph Collection Marriott Properties we are looking for a profile of Cluster Revenue Manager who will report directly to Director of Revenue Strategy. The primary purpose of this position is to monitor group and transient business thresholds within the forecast to ensure measurable improvements for demand and availability.


Supply critical analysis on the effect of short range decisions effecting occupancy average rate and rooms profit goals. Analysis of city events and activities and to project the effect of opportunities they create. Monitor competitive analysis. Its a challenging position within the commercial team. This revenue manager will be responsible for managing 2 hotels directly.


MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS


A minimum of 3 years in a revenue management.

Preferred Experience:

o Experience in an international hotel chain or hotel group.

Operation knowledge of any of the following systems:

o Opera Marsha One Yield and HPP.

Advanced Excel and strong numeracy and analytical skills.

Highlevel presentation skills via PowerPoint or other tools.

Native or fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)

Must be EU Citizen or in possession of Italian work visa.


OBJECTIVE OF THIS ROLE


The Cluster Revenue Manager will work with the Group Director of Revenue Strategy & Distribution to coordinate and implement all revenue strategies mainly related to Duo Milan Porta Nuova Tribute Portfolio and Grotta Giusti Thermal Spa Resort Autograph Collection.

He/She works closely with the sales and marketing teams as well as the operations teams in each hotel.

Responsible for delivering all aspects of pricing demand analysis yield management business mix optimisation selling strategies distribution and intermediary strategy and tactics to maximise revenue growth profit contribution and market share working closely with the onproperty reservations and C&E team.

He/She reports to the Group Director of Revenue Strategy & Distribution



CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES


Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and coordinate day to day yield operations.

Ensure all related systems are configured correctly validated and working to full capacity

Daily pickup analysis strategy adjustments and reporting.

Experience leading daily and weekly commercial meetings on forward looking issues such as booking pace performance analysis and put in place action plans.

Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.

Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel.

Oversee strategy for the two Marriott Hotels.

Responsible for assessing analysing and pricing group business strategies.

Analyse overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.

Ensure web site booking process is maintained uptodate and functional.

Regularly check the input and the quality of data (segmentation denials tracking etc.).

Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA tour operator corporate consortia groups etc).

Prepare outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.

Any other reasonable requests made by management.
