Job Description

Job Title: Enterprise Architect

Enterprise arachitect / Data Archival and Retention

Job Location: Rochster, NY

Summary: Provide Enterprise thought leadership in the development and maintenance of core strategies and standards in the Technology, Application, and Data ecosystem.
Responsibilities:

Enterprise Architects partner with executive business leadership, IT Leadership, Engineers, Developers and to create a Technology Architecture Strategy and Plan that aligns investments in technology with business goals and strategies. They are the primary partner for executive leadership in technology discussions and planning.

Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Level I
Works as equal with engineering/development staff for optimal design/delivery.
Supports the development of Business Cases through the development of Architecture Impact Assessments, Conceptual Solution Designs and Solution Design Scorecards.
Provides direction to solution delivery teams on development of technology element roadmaps, (e.g. cloud, mobility, automation) assigned to their business portfolio.
Accountable for the value and quality of solution and process designs delivered for a business portfolio.
Develops component selection and prototyping as required.
As a key member of the project team, provides leadership in both application design and development.
Works with Level II/III EA's to identify areas of re-usability/architecture improvements across the portfolio.
Responsible for educating Solution Architects on Target State Architectures and roadmaps and ensuring solutions are designed in alignment with the TSA.
Researches and identifies areas of innovation with the intent to advance business capabilities by the use of IT.
Consistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies' mission and values, adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct, and Leading to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.
Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures.
Regular reliable attendance is expected and required.
Performs other functions as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

Level I
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field (or four additional years related work experience in lieu of bachelors).
10+ years of progressive experience in computer system support, design, development and engineering in a large distributed computing environment. Plus 2 years of architecture experience.
Demonstrated design and delivery experience:
Application Design & Development
Hands-on programming expertise with multiple programming languages.
Understanding of tradeoffs between programming paradigms such as object oriented versus functional programming styles.
Systems Integration
Ability to take high level requirements and develop software architecture and code with minimum supervision.
Enterprise Integration technologies and patterns.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Extremely collaborative and personable.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Capable of rapidly understanding new concepts and ideas.
Ability to command respect amongst peers and colleagues.
