Job Title: Global Law Innovation Supervisor
Location of role: Chicago, IL 60606 Downtown Chicago - Hybrid role 2 to 3 days a week onsite - Must be vaccinated

Key Points of the role:
Education/Training/Certifications: Global Law Innovation Supervisor
- Law J.D. degree plus 3-5 years relevant experience, required
Professional Experience:
- Experience evaluating and implementing legal services innovation solutions, preferably in a large law firm environment
- Experience with statistical programming languages such as R or Python preferred
- Experience with statistical and data analysis and visualization best practices preferred
- Experience with business intelligence software such as Power BI or Tableau preferred
Technical Skills:
- Strong ability to engage in systems thinking-being able to conceptualize and implement a project from end-to-end, knowing which skills and techniques are required for a particular situation
- Familiarity with project management principles-including Agile and Waterfall methods-and experience determining when to use each method, required
- Working knowledge of quality improvement framework (i.e., DMAIC) and application of quality analytics tools preferred
- Working knowledge of process improvement principles (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), when to invoke each methodology, and how to deploy process improvement tools (e.g., process maps, fishbone diagrams, root cause analysis) preferred
- Knowledge of the lifecycle of a legal matter strongly preferred
Management Accountabilities:
- Oversees the day-to-day work management and mentors the Legal Innovation Analysts
- Serves as a role model for the Legal Innovation Analysts coaching them in the research and adoption of tools, building and delivery of solutions as-needed, and helping them grow in their journey as responsible members of the department
- Manages processes for direct reports in regards to performance appraisals, annual compensation, goal setting and performance counselling
- Conducts analysis of staffing levels and participation in the recruitment process
- Able to determine and implement change processes to improve workflow efficiencies
- Process- and service-oriented with strong leadership and project management skills
- Able to set priorities and delegate in an efficient manner
