Job Description
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 5-8+ years of project management experience in the software development industry, including planning, development, execution and delivery.
2. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
3. PMP certification is desired but not required.
4. Experience managing software development-related projects in Agile environments.
5. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision to meet task and project deadlines.
6. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage tasks and projects of increasing complexity.
7. Demonstrated competence in sustaining project timelines, schedules, and critical path analysis with all affected parties.
8. Effective communications and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills.
9. Ability to clearly report on plan implementation progress, and to motivate staff to follow timelines, report progress, and adapt and adjust as required.
10. Strong ability to keep staff teams focused on goal attainment within conflicting time parameters.
11. Ability to work in the dynamic school district environment, with an understanding of the nuances and challenges within an urban setting.
12. Strong influencing and negotiating skills for dealing with internal stakeholders and vendors.
13. Proven success working with all levels of management.
14. Ability to commit to this project for approximately eight (8) months.
