Looking for a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Candidate should be local to Hawaiian island to blend with the local culture.

I have the following position to work physically from Matson Honolulu, HI office. The Sr. Director at Matson Infra group just confirmed with his team that they will need an infrastructure person in HON supporting projects that will last for several years. Primarily they are interested in someone who can manage vmware, vcenter, purestorage, cisco blades, etc. Below are some of the skills they are looking for.

The ideal candidate they are looking for is a senior infrastructure tech with the following knowledge and experience:

1. Network Management: Basic network knowledge DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.

2. Environmental administration Management: AWS, VMWare, Cisco UCS, Cisco HyperFlex, Pure Storage, Cohesity Storage.

3. Project Management experience: Experience in establishing collaboration, Experience in setting up clear goals, Experience in stakeholder management

4. Technology Experience administering and Understanding: HyperFlex, Cohesity, AWS, Puppet, Windows OS, Red Hat Linux, VMWare ESXi, VMWare VDI

5. Project Delivery: Project documentation, Project Progress Tracking, Project Change Control
