Sales Engineer (m/f/d)
Location: New Delhi (NCR)
Reporting to Managing Director of OPEN MIND Technologies-India Sales Engineer is responsible for direct selling of OPEN MIND Technologies CAD/CAM products and services to new and existing customers.
This is a quota carrying position and would need to generate the committed revenue and help grow the revenue as per company growth plans.
Tasks
- Establish new accounts by performing sales and lead generation calls in the targeted business region.
- Identify needs and requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and existing customers.
- Prepare and provide quotations and relevant information of products and services by answering questions and requests.
- Create and present presentations to the client.
Requirements
We are looking for a local candidate with the following relevant experiences:
- B. of Engineering in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5 - 8 years of quota carrying direct technical-sales experience in selling high-value CAM/CAD software products and/or machine tools related products
- Ability to work as a team with internal and external stakeholders (industry partners).
- Experience in solution selling, communication (both verbal and written) and soft skills is preferred. Strong business acumen with negotiation and networking skills.
- A creative individual that can implement sales and marketing activities to generate new leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Ability to function in a team atmosphere, appreciates aggressive goals, and has superior organizational/time management skills with a make-it-happen attitude.
- This position is only well suited for a person who is dynamic, self-motivated, pro-active and self-accountable.
- The travel share in the assigned region is about 60% of the time.
- Already familiar with the assigned region is an advantage
