About the team:


The Zero Trust Architecture team is looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer with proven development skills in the area of platform, infrastructure as well as LDAP, Cloud and Kubernetes and any eCommerce experience as well.


Key responsibilities:

Design and build a distributed system with high security, high transaction rate and high availability.
Collaborate with architects in defining the technical charter for eBays Zero Trust Architecture products.
Work with partners to clarify requirements and deliver business solutions.
Evangelize security first approach to teams within eBay to improve eBays overall security posture.


Qualifications:

B.S. or M.S. Degree and software engineering experience in software design and development.
Proven foundation in computer science with strong proficiencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Excellent knowledge in architectural and design patterns, open-source platforms, frameworks, technologies, and software engineering methodologies.
Hands-on experience in Java/Node.js, Spring, OOP, LDAP, OpenID Connect, SAML and scalable application development
Experience developing data-driven applications using an industry standard RDBMS and NoSQL.
Experience with Go, Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes is preferred.
Working in determining bottlenecks and improving system performance
Working to solve issues in distributed systems
Abundant knowledge on large scale distributed systems
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Enthusiastic and self-motivated
