Prepare and manage release plan in coordination with Product Owners, Factory/Assembly line Teams, and supporting departments (Integration, Infrastructure, Security, Support/Operations, etc.).
As a Release Engineer, you will work on implementation of application enhancements/changes; support release management including the verification and final production acceptance review and signoff; own the issue resolution process for any application problems.

Facilitate infrastructure modernization through DevOps and CI/CD tool chain adoption and implementation
Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases
Work with development teams and ensure entry criteria is met before accepting the changes or requests.
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different factories/teams.
Communicate release plan, deployment, and post-implementation status with stakeholders.
Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget and meet or exceed expectations.
Own and continually improve the release process by documenting release issues and developing plans to improve process or automation.
Maintains the release schedule for factory/assembly line and ensures alignment across key partners and vendors.
Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities, including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks.
Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.
May include some supervisory responsibilities and/or direct work to vendors and consultants.
Manage /create Github branches for a particular Release cycle.
Work closely with development staff to resolve build problems and merge conflicts.
