IT Support Engineer

Job Summary:

The IT Support Engineer will provide technical support and maintenance for all IT systems including hardware software and networks. The role involves troubleshooting issues implementing solutions and providing a high level of customer service to internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware software and network issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems efficiently and effectively
• Install configure and maintain computer systems servers and networks
• Manage user accounts permissions and access rights
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security
• Assist with the deployment and management of new hardware and software
• Document support activities solutions and ongoing issues
• Provide training and support to endusers on IT systems and applications
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven 4 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar technical support role
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
• Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP)
• Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV)
• Proficiency with common office software and applications (e.g. Microsoft Office G Suite)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• High level of integrity and professionalism
