The IT Support Engineer will provide technical support and maintenance for all IT systems including hardware software and networks. The role involves troubleshooting issues implementing solutions and providing a high level of customer service to internal and external users.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for hardware software and network issues
Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems efficiently and effectively
Install configure and maintain computer systems servers and networks
Manage user accounts permissions and access rights
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security
Assist with the deployment and management of new hardware and software
Document support activities solutions and ongoing issues
Provide training and support to endusers on IT systems and applications
Participate in IT projects and initiatives ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Proven 4 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar technical support role
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP)
Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV)
Proficiency with common office software and applications (e.g. Microsoft Office G Suite)
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
