Urgent job opening for Trader Support in NYC, NY - contract

Role: Trader Support

Location : NYC, NY

Duration : Contract

Responsibilities and duties:-

• Profile windows 10 workstations by replicating config on existing windows 7 workstations.
• Assist With post upgrade incidents and queries
• Support trade floor application which interacts with Office (e.g, Bloomberg, Factset, Thompson Reuters Refinitive Eikon)
• Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel
• Ensure incident management process is followed and all SLAs are met.
• Troubleshoot Hardware & software issues in person at the user's desk(Floorwalking), remotely and by phone

Qualifications and skills

• 3+ years' experience in Trade Floor Support and 6+ experience in providing IT Support
• Experience working with Office 2016 is a priority.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
• Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required.
• Experience working with Windows 10, Windows 7, Active Directory
• Incident Management via ServiceNow is also requirement.
• Experienced use of Excel is beneficial.
• VMWARE and VDI knowledge will be useful.
• SCCM Knowledge will be useful.
• Knowledge of Citrix Remote PC will also be useful.
