Role: Trader Support
Location : NYC, NY
Duration : Contract
Responsibilities and duties:-
- Profile windows 10 workstations by replicating config on existing windows 7 workstations.
- Assist With post upgrade incidents and queries
- Support trade floor application which interacts with Office (e.g, Bloomberg, Factset, Thompson Reuters Refinitive Eikon)
- Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel
- Ensure incident management process is followed and all SLAs are met.
- Troubleshoot Hardware & software issues in person at the user's desk(Floorwalking), remotely and by phone
Qualifications and skills
- 3+ years' experience in Trade Floor Support and 6+ experience in providing IT Support
- Experience working with Office 2016 is a priority.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
- Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required.
- Experience working with Windows 10, Windows 7, Active Directory
- Incident Management via ServiceNow is also requirement.
- Experienced use of Excel is beneficial.
- VMWARE and VDI knowledge will be useful.
- SCCM Knowledge will be useful.
- Knowledge of Citrix Remote PC will also be useful.
