Job duties: The Staff Tech Lead Manager position will design, develop and validate software for the companys autonomy systems and embedded devices. Perform code reviews, debug and fix complex software issues. Design and implement tooling for improving device performance and testing for regressions between firmware updates. Implement security infrastructure for safety critical embedded devices including secure boot, encrypted messaging and authenticated firmware updates. Develop user interface software and test automation infrastructure. Directly manage a team of engineers working on software across various hardware projects. Work with product managers to ensure work is delegated, tracked, and completed on time. Participate and lead in sprint planning and technical product road maps. Provide guidance, supervision, scheduling, technical mentorship, and skill development planning for team members.
