As an Officer with State Street Global Advisors and Global Institutional Groups, you will take an active role in the below objectives:

Primary objective is to lead and manage 3-4 RFP Team members in Sales Infrastructure Group in India that produce high quality sales collateral for high value client opportunities
Train, mentor and oversee the new and existing team members
Act as escalation point for all issues related to stakeholders and management of a particular region
Work collaboratively with Global team on various projects, oversight, committees, KPIs etc.
Keep team management informed of new developments, service issues and business opportunities
Prepare reports to analyze performance of all reporting team members for management and conduct unbiased monthly, quarterly and annual reviews for all direct reports
Work with Talent Acquisition team to hire most appropriate personnel in appropriate roles whenever required
Build strong relationship and cohesively work with other Regional Team leads across other offices globally
Motivate and be a role model to all team members

You will report to the Senior Manager of Global RFP Team in Bangalore office.


Education and experience requirements

Graduate or above, preferably a MBA graduate with specialization in finance
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Finance Industry with exposure to managing more than one team in Asset Management for over 2-4 years
Very good understanding of financial industry and various asset classes like Equity, Fixed Income etc.
Exposure to Mutual Funds and ETFs will be added benefit

:
Understanding of the asset management business, financial concepts, and regulations as well as knowledge of various asset classes, different investment products, and market segments
Strong strategical and analytical thinking with a demonstrated ability to execute as per organizational policies
High level of responsiveness and ability to work collaboratively across multiple business groups and levels of the organization
Capacity for differentiated thinking, acute attention to details and ability to challenge the status quo in order to drive optimal outcomes
Self-motivated, consultative mindset, ethical thinking, adapt to change and multi-task, strong people management, project management, analytical thinking, problem solving, research, time management, and verbal and written communication skills in English language
High Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications, specifically MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
