They will assess patients on admission and throughout the stay, involving patients and their caregivers in the plan development and updating as necessary throughout stay. The RN will be required to administer IV medications, IV therapy, blood and its components according to clinical standards and policies.JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation:Associate's degree in nursing requiredMust have valid State of Maine RN licenseBLS certification required"Staff must be trained and able to demonstrate competency in the application of restraints, implementation of seclusion, monitoring, assessment, and providing care for a patient in restraint or seclusion." to ensure competency has been validated by the agency employing the staff memberExperience:1 year previous nursing experience preferredOther Skills Required:Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills requiredFlexibility required to provide coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
