Position: Registered Nurse MedicalSurgical/Telemetry
Start Date: 10/10/2024

Location: Lawton OK 73505

Traveler Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates 50mile radius restriction)

Patient Ratio: 1:45
Specific Policies:
- Multipliers No increased rate for OT Holiday and CallBack
- Orientation Allied and Therapy Travelers start orientation on Tuesdays. Nursing Travelers start orientation on Thursdays
- 1 Year NIH Certification Link:
RN needed for the opening of the MedSurg/CVCU unit. Unit opening for overflow pts. 12bed unit. Staffing 1:45 (depending on acuity).
A medical surgical telemetry nurse or telemetry nurse monitors patients vital signs and physiological parameters using telemetry equipment. They work in hospitals and other clinical facilities to care for patients with a range of conditions including heart failure diabetes and gastrointestinal diseases.
Submission Requirements- Float to other Med/Surg or ER to take Med Surg holds occasionally Required
- Must be able to read monitor strips.
- Scheduling Flexibility Required
- Recent traveler experience highly preferred
Profile Requirements:
- Work History
- Ss Checklist ((Cardiac ICU Checklist) current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years
- Licensure & Certifications (OK State License or compact & BLS ACLS AHA NIH)
