About the Opportunity and Project:
This opportunity is to contribute in Recity s endeavor to divert 3.5 lakh MT of plastic waste by 2030.
Recity will be setting up Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) across multiple geographies in India
with a focus on ending plastic pollution specifically near environmentally vulnerable areas like
oceans, rivers, forests & hills. Recity will construct, operate, maintain the MRFs and deliver
sustainable business models.
Position Overview:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the overall finance management of multiple projects.
The key outcome of this role is to create project budget, financial projections and work with internal
teams to meet overall financial objectives of the project. The role requires tracking cash flows,
financial planning and analyzing the project's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing
strategic directions.
Core Responsibilities:
Budget creation, monitoring, ensuring payment processing, budget utilizations, project
business plan projections and overseeing project finances
Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks for the entire project.
Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the project.
Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial
forecast
Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions if required
Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the project
Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports of team members
Evaluate the financial performance of the project and measure returns on investments
Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the project and suggest
mitigation measures as and when required
Education and Experience: Selection based on experience and depth of domain. Prior
experience as a Finance Manager will be relevant.
