Job Description




Responsibilities:

Strategic work:
Design TP review process during the year i.e. true up before year end and monitor the legal entitys profitability during mid of year and coordinate with Corporate Transfer Pricing senior manager and external TP adviser if material profitability gap is identified during the year.
Perform as central contact person for addressing affiliate service charge questions in China
Work with Corporate TP SM and Asia Tax SM to produce and develop TP audit defense strategy for China affiliates.
Health Check work:
Perform selected health check on RPT information that local finance team prepared in their annual tax filing PPT forms (19 forms), Statutory audit reports and TPD if any and provide health check feedbacks and suggestions of improvement (data accuracy and consistency)
Perform RPT transaction summary sheet from PRC Statutory reports perspective for Chinas 20+ legal entities

Assistance on Local file requirements and special files requirements (new local file requirements):
Control point of person for Related-party services Overview of related-party services Description of the service-related cost pooling method ,Similarities and differences between the related and unrelated services in terms of pricing policy and transaction results
Assist external TPD advisers to obtain and compound Business strategies, including description of business processes, operation models, value drivers etc.
Assist external TPD adviser to compound of value chain analysis (including description of groups business flows, goods flows and cash flows, including the business processes and participants in each process , Financial statements of each participant involved for the most recent fiscal year , Measurement and attribution of the contributions of location specific factors to the groups value creation, Principles and results of the distribution )
Master File interpretation:

Assist external tax advisers and internal finance controlling team to review and provide Master file translation in China
Work with external tax advisers and Corporate TP SM on how to provide/disclosure information to China tax authorities.

CBC reporting:
Provide assistance and coordination with Corporate TP SM and Asia Tax SM as well as local finance team on any questions in relation to the CBC reporting from China tax bureaus
Help local finance team to reconcile between CBC reporting and local statutory reporting if material gap exists


Requirements:

4-6 years of Transfer pricing working experiences
Asia transfer pricing experience is a plus
Big four and in-house experience are both preferred
CTA or CPA is preferred
