ROLE OVERVIEW

Hugo is seeking highly dedicated, entrepreneurial, and enthusiastic Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to join our growing revenue organization. BDRs will be responsible for outbound sales prospecting to drive aggressive revenue growth by researching and prospecting clients through calls, emails, and social media; qualifying leads in order to continuously build an active sales pipeline of the most interesting and dynamic international companies for Hugo to provide its services to.

With the support of your team, youll autonomously find creative ways (balancing scrappy and sustainable) to open up entirely new growth opportunities for the business. By consistently leaning into your exceptional communication skills and ability to truly empathize with the challenges our buyers face, youll seek to quickly establish a clear value proposition in every client engagement.

This role offers a base salary + uncapped commission with a clear growth path and unlimited earning potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Discover Hugos next wave of global clients at companies ranging from startups with huge growth trajectories to large enterprises
Execute the outbound (phone, email, social) processes needed to generate significant interest from prospects and book discovery meetings
Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for Account Executives by conducting in-depth market research to identify and qualify new account opportunities
Consistently achieve/exceed quota (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
Independently manage an active pipeline with multiple prospects, utilizing our technology stack to. track progress and optimize outcomes
Be the subject matter expert on new products, services, and industry trends; gather prospect feedback, monitor competitor activity, and market opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement to management

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a strong desire to WIN and get to the Yes in every account you touch
Bachelors Degree with 1-3 years of progessive of work experience in a business environment (can include school internships); experience in B2B sales, growth marketing, or customer success is a plus
Possess a track record of excellence and high achievement in academics, work experience, or extracurricular activities
Excellent research skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English)
Strong time management and organizational skills, while managing multiple stakeholders and sales activities
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to quickly master a premium sales tech stack (Hubspot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Crunchbase, Zoom Phone, and more)
A desire to grow and advance a career in sales
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
