Job Description


Executive Assistant to Investment Team, Private Equity/Venture Capital Firm, New York City


A successful and well-funded start-up private equity/venture capital firm, mid- town, New York City is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the investment team. The ideal candidate has prior experience running large events and conferences for an investment firm as well as experience putting together presentations and pitch books. Great attention to detail and superior organizational skills and a no job too small attitude a MUST. This is an in- person position 5 days in the office. The candidate must be vaccinated.


About the Job:



  • Support the senior investment team with all administrative functions

  • Handle heavy domestic and international travel arrangements

  • Manage complex calendars; prioritize emails and craft responses to high end clients on the executives behalf

  • Plan meetings, client events, conferences, dinners, lunches, receptions from start to finish; prior experience with event planning a MUST

  • Create pitchbooks and presentations for clients, as needed

  • Expense reporting; knowledge of Concur a PLUS

  • Ad hoc projects

  • Hours, 9-5:30/6PM, 100% comprehensive health care coverage, onsite gym


About You:



  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting more than 1 executive in the finance space. Experience in start-up type finance firm a PLUS. Prior experience running events large and small a MUST

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Very detail oriented with the ability to change gears quickly - a true multi-tasker who is also a problem solver

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling all confidential information; high emotional and intellectual intelligence

  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills; Excellent PowerPoint skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A true team player with a no job too small attitude
