Job Description

Position: Recruiter
Location: Waterloo, IA, 50703
Duration: 4+ Months(Possibility Extension)
Job Summary:
  • This position is responsible for recruiting interviewing and hiring personnel for the various shifts in compliance with all EEO regulations.
  • Strictly adhering to all employment authorization guidelines in accordance with corporate local state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Partnering with department managers to establish staffing guidelines.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring complete documentation.
  • Interpreting and administering policies in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Managing the Team Member retention program.
  • Compiling information regarding the plants Affirmative Action plan.
  • Representing the client at Unemployment Appeal hearings.
  • Posting and gathering bid information.
  • Tracking applicant flow to ensure the plant is in adherence with affirmative action standards; and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
  • Coordinates conduct exit interviews and provide turnover analysis and related recommendations.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours. Other duties as required in support of the overall HR department mission.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 1 plus years of HR experience.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills including generating simple letters spreadsheets and or graphics creating simple queries; proficiency with Excel PowerPoint eVerify SAP and Perstime preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; Bilingual skills a plus. Supervisory: Manage a clerical staff; oversee and track their performance; ensure they understand and are trained on job duties, and any other requirements needed to successfully do the job.
Travel: 1 plus trip per year for training and recruitment purposes in addition to multiple recruiting trips.
The ideal candidate must be a self-driven motivated individual with pride in all they do. This position requires flexibility in the work schedule. Interviews will be in person.
