Job Description

EMEA Head of Applications

This role will cover the core components of:

  • Application Portfolio Management
  • Release Management
  • Business Relationship Management

The right candidate will need to have a strong grasp of ITIL, specifically Transition / Release / Change, and be an exceptional communicator at all levels, with a history of leading business change initiatives. Experience of Salesforce would also be highly desirable as they lean heavily on this for marketing and sales activity.

Experience and Skills:

  • Core experience of leading on an IT Applications strategy and roadmap build plus roll-out
  • Core experience of Application Rationalisation and Application Portfolio Management
  • Experience of EMEA regional work and cultural impact multi-site and multi-lingual environments
  • Experience of managing multiple teams 3rdline support / testers / QA
  • Experience working with the Executive on future IT direction from an Apps Support perspective
  • Desirable to have an understanding of the Gartner TIME model
  • ITIL experience is desirable specifically Service Design area
  • Other key areas of technology: Microsoft, Cloud Tech, Salesforce, ServiceNow
