Role: .NET/Angular Application Developer

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Location: Remote

Rate: $85

.NET Developer Responsibilities:

Utilizing Microsoft's .NET infrastructure to create software solutions that meet clients' requirements

Collaborating with coworkers to facilitate the delivery of large, complex development projects

Reformulating existing code to ensure adherence to stipulated guidelines while improving existing software

Checking your code to detect and remedy errors and omissions

Testing your outputs to ensure that they are in excellent working order

Ensuring that outputs are visually appealing, accessibility compliant , user-friendly, secure, and engaging

Ability to support current framework on all tiers and revise, update, refactor, and debug code

Supporting deployments to multiple environments with proper regression and smoke testing

Using clients' feedback to inform the creation of subsequent versions of each iteration and deployment

Remaining abreast of coding and technological changes that will impact your work

Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

Proactive communications and planning skills

.NET Developer Requirements:

5-15 years enterprise level design and development experience using Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, SSRS

In-depth knowledge of .NET infrastructure

Development experience in a general object-oriented language

Experience with web-based development tools and methods, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5/CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, Entity Framework, Angular

Experience with third party integration methods, such as Web Services, Web API, RESTFUL API, SOAP, JSON, XML

Working knowledge of data modeling and database design with Oracle and MS SQL Server

Experience in static code analyzer and remediation (Fortify, Veracode, FxCop)

Tools: Visual Studio, MS TFS, SQL Navigator for Oracle

Additional Expertise a Plus:

Domain knowledge of State Retirement Systems

Experience in converting Power Script/PowerBuilder Applications to .NET Platform Applications
