Job Description:

The Digital Analytics Manager organizes, oversees, and executes GBE's digital analytics across multiple channels, including websites, app, CRM, social media and events. This position will partner across business and analytics teams to scope, prioritize, align, plan & execute the delivery of experimentation analysis, data insights, and go-forward recommendations to serve our fans and their evolving needs. Typical tasks include highlighting growth opportunities, creating and analyzing user behavior cohorts, identifying key touchpoints in the user journey, experimental design and site experience analysis and using user data to optimize traffic, engagement, revenue, and retention. The position will also play a major role in planning the future of Audience Engagement by building recommendations to optimize digital experiences, refine content and identify opportunities throughout the audience funnel. Additionally, you will deliver solutions and recommendations that empower business stakeholders to self-serve; driving scalable and sustainable impact from our analytics capabilities.

Job Qualification Standards

Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with data analytics across multiple digital platforms.
  • Experience building reports/dashboards, analyzing data, and synthesizing insights
  • Ability to use analytics to understand digital user behavior and seek opportunities to accelerate growth
  • Adept at creative storytelling using data driven insights and ability to bring complex consumer data to life for product, marketing, and business partners
  • Track record of developing positive working relationships in multi-functional teams with varied levels of analytics knowledge
  • Project management skills to maintain reporting schedules and deadlines throughout various corporate and ongoing campaigns. Ability to work in a 24-hour project cycle utilizing internal teams, agencies, and/or contractors.
  • Must be able to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Strong understanding of databases and data structures
  • Knowledge of standard methodologies, industry practice & current trends in digital marketing communication and CRM strategy for digital engagement, digital commerce, social media or mobile apps preferred
  • Strong understanding of analytical systems and tools. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Segment, Tableau, Sales Force, SPRINKLR, and social media applications a plus.
  • Familiarity with principles of marketing (and the ability to adapt them as dictated by data).
  • Fluency in SQL or similar experience analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets required
  • Basic understanding of HTML, web publishing, etc. preferred.
  • Knowledge of comics and/or DC characters a plus.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Technology, Business, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is required.

Other Requirements

  • WFH optional, PST hours required
  • Flexibility to respond to off-hours business needs.
