Position Overview:
As a senior RF Engineer, you will be part of an agile team who develops intelligent embedded wireless communication devices used in the electric power industry. Success in this role is driven by having skills in RF development, understanding hardware architecture, communication technologies, and good team communication skills.
In this role you will:
- Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle (Concepts, Requirements, Design, Prototype, Testing, Release and Support)
- Work with RF circuitry and antenna and evaluate range and system performance.
- Work with external test labs for FCC/IC certification and verification test.
- Research new wireless technologies, evaluate components/modules/solutions to drive new product development, improve product performance, or reduce product cost.
- Collaborate with external & internal customers to partner on schedule, cost and performance alignment.
- Develop supporting engineering documentation such as hardware requirements, design documentation, design verification test plans, and production test/calibration requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of experience in design and developing embedded RF products, including integration of RF and digital circuitry
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or from an accredited institution
- Experience in developing RF networking technologies including WiFi, Bluetooth/BLE, Cellular.
- Familiarity with RF simulation/design tools and PCB design tools (Altium preferred)
- Experience with antenna design, simulation and test
- Familiarity with RF test equipment and experience in developing automated test and test procedure.
