Job Description:

The Shipping Planner is responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving supplies, goods, and people. Performs all tasks involved in the production of products as assigned by the Logistic Supervisor and/or Lead. The Shipping Planner follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent. Two years’ manufacturing experience in an assembly environment preferred.  Ability to responsibly use work related equipment and materials.  Proficient in Microsoft Programs. Ability to successfully navigate multiple computer applications and screens.  Good communication skills – written and verbal.  Ability to communicate with supervisor for training and development.  Attention to detail. Ability to plan and organize, good time management skills. Ability to retain information (e.g., policies, procedures) or find it as needed. Problem solving ability.  Ability to operate under pressure of deadlines. Cooperative, team oriented, patient, calm under pressure, and able to work independently. Ability to function in fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Basic math aptitude.
