Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage plan and execute a global supply chain strategy supporting expansion into new regions and countries.
- Conduct indepth analysis of the current supply chain processes and implement improvements to prepare for future growth.
- Drive Lean practices and Operations Excellence across multiple manufacturing plants.
- Grow the procurement and strategic sourcing team through hiring mentoring and developing new leaders.
- Collaborate with an 89 person team at Corporate including buyers planners and a logistics supervisor as well as coordinate with teams in Ireland and Springfield MO.
Ideal Experience:
- Background in capital equipment or machinery with expertise in strategic sourcing supplier management procurement strategies production planning and international logistics.
- Proven leadership in managing multiple plants within a global organization with a strong focus on procurement and strategic sourcing.
- Experience developing global sourcing strategies and supporting launches in new markets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Management Finance or Business.
- A successful track record in operational tactical and strategic facets of a global supply chain with the ability to implement change and effect improvements.
- Approximately 80% of the role involves procurement and strategic sourcing with an interface between production planning and international shipping.
