DevOps Engineer (Russian Speaker)

We are searching for a decisive and insightful DevOps engineer to join our reputable company. The DevOps engineer will be involved in various stages of each product's lifespan and should remain abreast of technological advancements to promote efficiency.

Tasks

• Creating and maintaining infrastructure, manually and through infrastructure as code
• Working with an engineering team to build an effective CI/CD pipeline.
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning projects and being involved in project management decisions
• Rolling out fixes and upgrades to software, as needed, and providing technical support
• Build tools to reduce the occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
• Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Ensure proper logging and monitoring metrics during the entire application lifecycle
• Support development teams in optimizing application performance, reliability, and security
• Be part of an on-call rotation

Requirements

• Fluent Russian Speaker - MUST
• 5 Years Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role - MUST
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile tools and methodologies - MUST
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Strong Linux/Unix command line/bash skills
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS)
• Working knowledge of AWS platform
• Working knowledge: Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, Terraform, ArgoCD
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation
• Problem-solving attitude
• Collaborative team spirit
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field - Big Advantage
• Living in Cyprus with a work permit - Big Advantage
