Duties and responsibilities:

We are looking for a Software developer who will play a decisive role in the software development department reporting directly to head of R&D. You are responsible for the programming of shared storage and cluster file systems within the framework of company own software defined enterprise storage solutions. You take a significant part in DevOps projects coordinating between Operations, Software development and customers.

The main tasks are:

Working with distributed file systems GlusterFS

Evaluating GlusterFS features for customer projects

Automation of GlusterFS configuration

Implementing GlusterFS extensions (such as GFS xlators)

Ihr Profil

Experience and skills:

Your key skills required for this job are:

At-least 2+ years relevant experience in programing as a developer - C and GlusterFS on platforms such as GitHub and programing language such as Go

Familiar with Linux based server and data management in complex enterprise IT-infrastructures and virtualized environments

A broad and working knowledge of Linux and ideally skills in relevant Linux distributions within the scope of data management

Technology enthusiasm with creative urge and ability to learn and adopt different technologies

Positive problem-solving spirit and absolute cooperative, industrious and trusty staff member

Language skills: fluent spoken and written English
