Job Description


My Cloud Crew is a boutique cloud staffing firm founded in 2017.
We hire seriously talented work-from-home Filipino staff to work with our Australian and US clients.

Workremotely while travelling or from the comfort of your home office.

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeperwith experience in Australian bookkeeping.
Youare to maintain financial records forMy Cloud Crews clients, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. This role includes working closely with our accounting team and the accounting/bookkeeping team of our Clients to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses) and has experience using Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Recording the financial transactions of a business in bookkeeping software (such as MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks), spreadsheets or databases

  • Arranging payment of accounts

  • Preparing and sending invoices and receipts to debtors

  • Processing payroll and maintaining employee records

  • Carrying out bank reconciliations

  • Reporting for preparation of a Business Activity Statement (BAS)

  • Checking figures and reporting for accuracy

  • Reporting any irregularities in data to management/client

  • Producing balance sheets, income statements and other financial documents

  • Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, computer printouts

  • Transfer data to general ledger

  • Draw up financial statements (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet)

  • Track and maintain inventory records

  • Maintain internal control systems

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Prepare and process payroll

  • Calculate and prepare tax payments

  • Assist with audits

  • Assist with recruitment and contribute to training program



Requirements

  • Working PC with minimum RAM of 8GB
  • Minimum 16 inch monitor
  • Suitable home-office environment
  • Minimum of two years responsible accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports
  • Must be able to prepare and carry on with end- to-end payroll transactions
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office equipment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Accounting packages with above average skills in Excel, Google Sheets as examples
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions and payroll returns
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English
  • Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
