Head of IT/Software Engineer (.NET)

Reporting directly to CEO, this position of Head of Information Technology consists of planning, directing, and coordinating all activities associated with creating & Implementing IT Strategies across multiple areas of the organization. Oversee all IT (Information Technology) functions in our company. You will be in charge of a team of Application managers/Team Lead and manage the company s technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies. Prioritize and allocate projects, product, and resources with the assistance of first line managers and Architects.

• Provides vision, planning and coordination of all IT Infrastructure Management, Software developments and/or implementation activities.
  
• Oversee all technology operations (Network & Information security, DC) and evaluate them according to established goals.
  
• Providing technical leadership and support to software development teams (Support, Change Request & Project.
  
• Create architectural approaches for supported HR business applications (HRMS), application design and implementation to guide the development team.
  
• Ensure, software engineering best practices, methodology and procedures are used to ensure reproducible development/implementation of high quality while keeping costs under control.
  
• Work with Technical leads and provide support in solutioning and review all technical proposals and effort estimations for all system changes or new implementation.
  
• In-depth knowledge of software design and implementation and web development experience using Microsoft Technologies (.Net, ASP Core), MVC in web-based application environment.
  
• Analyses software requirements; implements design plans, reviews unit tests; documents software development; monitors status of developing software; writes, reviews and revises product requirements and specifications.
  
• Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program (ISO27001, SOC1-ISAE3402, OSPAR).
  
• Ensure coding and development standards are met through regular audit of systems and processes.
  
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  
• Experience in leading multi-national remote IT and Development teams with excellent resource management.
  
• Translate business strategy / aspirations and customer needs into product requirements.
  
• Well versed with full P&L Management of a business unit
  
• Responsible for Resourcing/Technical Resource Management across the business unit
  
• Well versed with Product Lifecycle Development, Ownership of all Applications
  
• Experienced delivering to Product Deadlines.
  

Requirements

• This role will focus (70%) on Application development and (30%) on IT systems and policies
  
• Reports directly to CEO
  
• Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
  
• Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities with proposed solutions.
  
• Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.
  
• BSC/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field; MSc/MA will be preferred.
  
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  
• Strong command of written and oral English.
