Job Description

For our client in Brussels and active all over Belgium, a leader in the Catering and Event Industry, we are looking for a Sales & Marketing Director.

The company is operating on 2 axes:
  • Catering in Enterprises (75%)
  • Events & Catering Management (25%)
Company is well established in Flanders and Brussels, and as part of its development, the company is looking at expanding in Wallonia and to increase its presence on the Events & Catering Management all over Belgium

The company is focusing very hard on the usage of local products, bio food, short distribution circuits and position it self as a Premium Operator on the Market. Quality comes first.

The S&MD will manage a team of Sales and Marketing Professionnals and will be part of the Management Team of the company.

This is a ideal role for an experienced KAM/DOS/DOSM in the Hospitality or Event Industry to take a new step in his/her career.


Requirements

  • Ability to speak FR and NL (not bilingual but capable to work in the language) + EN
  • Previous experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager or Director, ideally in the Hospitality or Event Industry
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organizations
  • Willingnessto continuously learn on the job, through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Strong Negotiation skills and ability to manage long sales cycles
  • Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge
  • Ability to find solutions to challenges
  • Great People Management Skills
  • Analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation
  • Multi-tasking capabilities
  • A bachelor s degree or masters degree in a related field is a plus
